We are in a desperate need of a foster for a large 6 1/2 yo yellow lab. If you can foster her, she is a spay female. The person who surrendered her originally said she was allowed to roam on 35 acres. And was not trained as an inside dog, and had a high prey drive. The adopter was given this information. He came in yesterday and we stated, we would take the dog back, but we needed to find a foster, as stated in our adoption contract. Today he brought the dog back and and left. (He is now on our do not adopt list!) If you can foster her, please fill out our dog foster application, and call us ASAP. Lucky is a sweet girl, who just needs some training! (fb)

Rescuing Pets Takes a Community It all started when people found out we loved animals and would do what we could to help them find new homes says Chelley Kitzmiller the founder of Have A Heart Humane Society Our History Each rescue has its own goals and they run at their own pace Says Chelley Kitzmiller. Our ambitions and goals were hampered by too many limitations so we decided to start our own rescue where the sky is the limit. In January of 2010 Have A Heart Humane Society a 501c3 nonprofit charity was founded by Ted And Shelly Kitzmiller. Volunteers came forth adoption days were scheduled pets were brought into foster homes Foster homes are the key to the success of an organization like Have A Heart.
