Forgotten Felines of Culpeper rescuing the abandoned and forgotten, with no cat left behind. Our mission is two-fold. 1) To make a substantial difference in the lives of cats by saving as many lives from euthanasia as possible, vet, and place them into loving homes, and 2) by educating the public and focusing on so-called "feral, " stray, or community cats by providing socialization, love, proper vetting, and placing them in wonderfully loving homes. We have had great success with this! We are uniquely the only rescue in Culpeper County who rehabilitates and socializes community cats, many of which are merely frightened and need to learn to trust humans again. If placed in a shelter, euthanasia is imminent due to lack of space or time needed to socialize and being deemed not adoptable.
