Donate here: www.onelightglobal.org/donate Report from our last donation: The total budget allocated for this initiative was 2000 USD, which was distributed as follows: ● Nutritional Aid (Food, Formula, Nutritionally Dense Foods): 950USD ● Medical Support (Medicines, Creams, Surgical Interventions): 750USD ● Infant and Nursing Mother Supplies (Blankets, Hygiene Kits): 300 USD This budget allocation was maximized through targeting the most vulnerable groups which were previously assessed and surveyed by SFH team members, allowing us to stretch the funds to reach the highest possible number of beneficiaries. (All fees were covered by SFH including transfer fees, transportation fees, aftercare from surgical intervention fees) Conclusion and Next Steps Skills For Humanity-SFH was able to reach some of the most in need children thanks to the funding provided by One Light Global's community, the initiative in Arakan State successfully provided emergency support to 920 children and nursing mothers, alleviating immediate suffering and preventing deaths due to malnutrition and treatable diseases during and prior to the flooding. While the project has made a critical impact, ongoing needs in the region remain significant. There are thousands of children and infants in dire need, without clean water, little to no food, no medical aid and no clothing. The flooding has devastated many in multiple areas of Myanmar leaving them without anything, but also ongoing conflict means that people are left in a dehumanized state of being forced to live without basic human necessities or being able to give their children the dignity of basic needs being met. Further support is urgently needed to reach so many more. (fb)
