FIT works to provide Texans with the knowledge about cannabis, the biological mechanisms, the physiological aspects & socio-economic impacts through tools & resources such as seminars, trainings, on-line resources to promote being properly informed; to engage the community regarding how the legislative and political processes work; to engage the community by bring awareness to any legislation regarding cannabis; to educate legislators and staffers regarding the scientific realities of cannabis.

Foundation for an Informed Texas FIT is a 501c3 taxdeductible educational nonprofit focused on educating Texans about cannabis through tools resources and outreach. Subscribe to our mailing list for updates. Our organization engages with the community through Texas Compassionate Use Program In 2015 the Texas Compassionate Use Program TCUP was authored by Republicans in both the state House and Senate. It passed out of the Senate 301 and out of the House with more than a super majority.
