"For The Love of Horses" A loving haven dedicated to providing the ultimate sanctuary to the equine community Equamore Foundation was formed in 1991 as an Oregon non-profit unincorporated association and received its tax exempt letter from the IRS in 1996. When the Foundation purchased the sanctuary property in 2012, a new traditional non-profit corporation was formed and tax exempt status obtained from the IRS in 2013. The business of the Foundation was then transferred to that new tax exempt corporation effective January 1, 2015 and the old association was discontinued.
