We advocate for an alternative diabetes management regimen, anchored in nutrition and the proper use of insulins, that allows people with diabetes to achieve healthy blood glucose levels. We believe this is an important goal, as elevated glucose levels are associated with complications of diabetes.

Edited the post to add: today is Riv’s 12 year diabetes anniversary… The very best (pre-packaged) low carb cookie I’ve ever had. 🍋 Riv isn’t super interested in sweets anymore - but anything lemon flavored is our family kryptonite. These soft cookies were moist (😆) and chewy.
