1896 Ford Horseless Carriage Progress. This is a private project and no museum funds have been or will be used on it...but boy, it's going to be fun when it is done and driven at Kingsbury. when the Wright Brothers first flew in 1903 Horseless carriages were still the primary motorized vehicle, be it Electric, Gasoline, or Steam engines, and still more of a plaything of the wealthy or businesses that used them for short run deliveries. However, like with aircraft, the century was heralding a massive explosion of industry and transportation. (fb)
