The RWHP creates and distributes innovative tools & develops trainings that promote and encourage community-based education with the belief that community members should play a role in building their own futures for a more sustainable health impact. We, the Alachua County Human Rights Coalition, are a collective group of clergy, scholars, and community activists and organizers who are committed to educating and assisting individuals and groups who are experiencing difficulties receiving their basic human rights. We are a non-partisan, non-profit, grassroots organization that promotes networking; collective efforts; and coalition-building around issues, policies, and practices affecting human rights.

Social Justice Justicia social Human Rights Coalition The Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County HRC was formed in 2017 as a group of community activists and organizers who were committed to local tangible solutions to creating immigrant safety. Since merging with the RWHP in July 2024 the social justice division focuses on strengthening communities capacity to overcome social justice barriers through legal and knowyourrights education workshops accompaniment and tangible services such as the HRC Community ID and legal navigation services. This division provides immigrants in North Central Florida with the knowledge and resources they need to assert their rights access opportunities and navigate systems effectively. Mission Our mission is to cultivate safety and empowerment for immigrant families and individuals in North Central Florida by working with the immigrant community to build knowledge and selfsufficiency through community education tangible services advocacy and strengthening community connections.
