Great job Aaron! Speaking truth to power! Thanks to Aaron and Dominique for traveling to Miami on Thursday, May 29th to rally in front of the immigration court against the FL law SB4C. Florida Senate Bill 4–C (SB 4-C), enacted in February 2025, introduces stringent state-level immigration enforcement measures, making it one of the most aggressive immigration laws in the United States, that includes criminalization of unauthorized entry and reentry into the state. FWAF is opposing this law. The rally was organized by the Florida Immigrant Coalition. (fb)

Building Power with Farmworkers and Rural LowIncome Communities Throughout Florida WHO WE ARE The Farmworker Association of Floridas longstanding mission is to build power among farmworker and rural lowincome communities to respond to and gain control over the social political economic workplace health and environmental justice issues that impact their lives. WHAT WE DO Agroecology We view the necessary change to the inequities inherent in the current food system in which we live to be rooted at the community level. Worker Justice We work to inform immigrant farmworkers of their rights and engage them in decision making and policy setting processes that impact their lives. Health Environmental Justice We provide community education and influence policy related to health and safety protections for farmworkers.
