UpSpire, our social enterprise, not only puts people to work in full-time jobs with benefits, we also do our part to keep our city clean. Our litter crews are always working hard, picking up litter in vacant lots, across long stretches of roadsides, and in our waterways, all in an effort to keep the City of Fort Worth beautiful! So far, with two days left in the month of May, our crews have picked up litter across 1,151 miles. They have filled 3,990 bags of garbage, picked up 414 old tires, and cleaned 313 lots! Last year, our friends from First Command Financial installed a pergola on the grounds of Patriot House, where it has been well used and greatly appreciated by our residents.
