We allow children space to build community, to explore and learn collaboratively, and to inquire and wonder. We encourage children to investigate and question the natural world that surrounds them. We believe preschool children should be supported in emotional literacy, challenged through appropriate risk taking, and learn through play. We believe that children from all economic backgrounds deserve the opportunity to play, explore, and love the unique eco-system found in Louisiana. We strive to provide the space for meaningful encounters with nature that will form their eco literacy as adults.

Welcome to NOLA Nature School Nurturing in Nature Learning through Play Blooming Growing Together. At NOLA Nature School the citys natural wonders are our most inspiring classrooms spaces where nature threads its magic through the everchanging urban tapestry that is our beloved Crescent City. Each day unfolds as an adventure climbing trees on shaded trails marveling at fields of wildflowers tracing the graceful flight of birds or watching turtles glide through water. Sometimes we even find ourselves holding our breath in awe as alligators bask in the golden afternoon light.
