Village Minds is a grassroots organization dedicated to advocating for seniors in Chicago. Through our signature “Senior Shops,” we deliver quality fresh produce, other essential goods, and PPE to seniors in facilities and private homes. Village Minds is a grassroots 501(c)3 organization that serves seniors in the Chicago-area. Village Minds conducts “Senior Shops,” where we deliver fresh produce and other donated goods to seniors in private homes and senior care facilities. Our mission is to “Serve Our Seniors,” which also includes an advocacy program for seniors where they can express their needs and challenges without being afraid and have a community of people committed to assisting them with those needs and challenges long term. For founder Natia Simone, our mission is a work of heart. “I want to help them enjoy the final years of their lives. I think it's so unfair that they have to be worried, afraid or in need at this stage of life.”
