VIET works to develop educational and economic training programs and acts as a resource center. It aims to eliminate existing barriers between Vietnamese residents in New Orleans and English speaking citizens. Vietnamese Initiatives in Economic Training (V.I.E.T) established in 2001 to develop educational and economic training programs, acts as a resource center for residents in Louisiana, and bridging the gap as it relates to cultural and language barriers.
