National Black Nurses Association d/b/a Central Florida Black Nurses Association

The Central Florida Black Nurses Association of Orlando, Inc. (CFBNA)mission is to provide a forum for collective action by black nurses to investigate, define and advocate for the health care needs of African Americans and to implement strategies that ensure access to health care, equal to, or above health care standards of the larger society. It is a professional organization of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing students whose goal is to improve the quality of life for minorities, especially those of African heritage and other ethnic groups by mentoring and educating registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing students - building consumer knowledge and understanding of the health issues affecting us locally and nationally and by - supporting the professional and career development or our local nurses.
