ITS MISSION IS TO OBTAIN CONTRIBUTIONS TO PROVIDE FOR THE MAINTENANCE, PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE FOUR MISSION CHURCH BUILDINGS LOCATED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.

Together these cherished landmarks constitute the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Texas and serve as vibrant parishes today. Happy 4th of July from Las Misiones. Did you know the San Antonio Missions played a role in the American Revolution. In 1779, Spain joined the American Revolution—and the San Antonio Missions helped fuel the fight for freedom with cattle, horses, and funds to support the patriots with the first organized cattle drive from San Antonio to Louisiana.

We much prefer a belltower to a felled tower. This past month, we’ve been hard at work on the Mission Concepción belltower, stabilizing the chapel ceiling to ensure safety and structural integrity. If you’ve recently visited, the north side chapel has been closed for construction.
