American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association Inc
AFSA is an all volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to funding superior quality biomedical research on fibromyalgia and empowering patients through education about this life-impacting disease. We are a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Charitable Organization. The American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (AFSA) has two missions: (1) fund superior quality, scientific studies on fibromyalgia and (2) empower patients through educational information provided free-of-charge on our website. This is an extremely painful, fatiguing, and often debilitating medical condition that affects 3 to 5 percent of the population. By stepping up research on the causes of and treatments for fibromyalgia, AFSA and its generous contributors are working to improve the quality of life for individuals with this condition.
