Shoutout time! A big THANK YOU to the amazing students from Spring Harbor Middle School who chose to focus on food insecurity for a special class project and made a real impact. Last week, they dropped off a 326 pound (!!!) food donation to Second Harvest! With support from their classmates, teachers, and parents, these thoughtful young changemakers took action to help our community. We’re so inspired by their compassion and initiative! 🧡 (fb)
In observance of Memorial Day Second Harvest administration and distribution center offices will be closed Monday, May 26th. We remember and give heartfelt thanks to those who gave their lives in service to our country. Wishing everyone a safe and reflective holiday. We’ll reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 27. (fb)
