Join Lynelle Sjoberg Mondays at 1pm in August in the Center’s Memorial Garden to cultivate inner strength and support to build body/mind resilience and foster grace with life's challenges, through connection with our vast internal landscape, creating a more meaningful connection with life. The 60-minute classes are designed to create a safe refuge to explore and illuminate inner body wisdom weaving basic yoga postures, chi -gong, breath awareness, and various energy medicine techniques. FREE for Center members, it’s easy to join.

Vashon-Maury Senior Center
Join us this Friday, Aug 1st, at 1 pm, for an update on the Gray Whale from last summer with our friends at the Vashon Nature Center. In April 2024, a gray whale washed ashore on the east side of Vashon. After receiving a recovery permit from NOAA, the Vashon Nature Center and a team of volunteers retrieved all the bones from the beach.
