🎙️ AUDITION NOTICE: Forever Plaid at HCCT! 🎙️ Calling all male performers! Hill Country Community Theatre is holding auditions for the beloved musical revue Forever Plaid this weekend: 📅 Saturday, May 31 at 6:00 PM 📅 Sunday, June 1 at 2:00 PM 📍 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657 Prepare a song in a style similar to the show (no a cappella, please). Auditions will include cold readings from the script and a brief movement combination—so wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear. Directed by Heidi Melton, this heartfelt and hilarious tribute to 1950s close-harmony guy groups like The Four Freshmen and The Hi-Lo's features roles for four male performers: Francis: The confident leader with a romantic crooner's voice. Vocal range: F3–B5. Sparky: The energetic class clown with a heart. Vocal range: F3–G5. Jinx: The shy one with a sweet tenor. Vocal range: F3–C6. Smudge: The lovable worrier with a rich baritone.
