River City Food Bank has been serving healthy food to our neighbors facing hunger in the Sacramento region for more than 50 years. River City Food Bank's hours of emergency food distribution: Midtown (1800 28th St.) open Tuesday & Thursday from 10:30am-1:30pm; Arden-Arcade (2300 Edison Ave) is open on Wednesday & Friday from 10:30am-1:30pm. As Sacramento's oldest, continuously-serving food bank, our mission is to alleviate hunger in Sacramento County by providing healthy emergency food and other assistance, offering referrals and promoting self-sufficiency through a variety of programs. From seniors to children, from the homeless to the working poor, we assist all struggling families and individuals in Sacramento County.
