SDOP is a multi-faith network unlocking the power of people to bring justice, equality, and greater opportunity to our communities #SDOP A grassroots multi-faith network unlocking the power of people to bring justice to San Diego County SDOP's mission is the development of civic leadership through local community organizing work to improve communities, create public policy, and defend the public good by building constituencies of active participants in the public business of our cities, county, state, and federal governments. SDOP teaches and trains grassroots community leaders to successfully address the issues affecting their lives, such as access to healthcare, lack of affordable housing, gang and youth violence, deterioration of neighborhood infrastructure and services, environmental health issues, and the need for decent jobs. SDOP leaders learn to build empowering community organizations in neighborhoods and cities throughout San Diego County.
