Moon Area Education Foundation (MAEF) is a 501c3 nonprofit educational foundation established in 2018 to benefit the Moon Area School District (MASD) and local community. The Foundation is a catalyst for positive change and seeks to develop, enhance, promote and finance innovative educational programs, activities and projects for the Moon Area School District. MAEF creates partnerships between the MAEF, MASD, community, alumni, businesses and charitable benefactors to achieve its mission. It also partners with approved organizations under the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) to support approved educational programs.
