Compassion In Action - USA believes that seriously ill community members should not be without medical care, homeless, hungry, or near death before they can acquire the life-sustaining benefits they are eligible for such as Social Security Disability, SSI Disability, Medi-Cal or Medicaid. Compassion provides skilled and compassionate advocates so that those benefits are acquired and lives are lived with dignity and self-sufficiency.
