We are a non-profit support group dedicated to helping kids in Foster/Adoptive situations here in Citrus County Florida and the families that care for them. Citrus County Foster Parent Association is a non profit that helps support foster and adoptive families in the Citrus County Fl. area. Florida solicitation REGISTRATION#: CH50924 The Citrus County Foster Parent Association is a 501(c)3 organization and is made up of foster and adoptive parents in Citrus County who work together to furtheraddress the needs of children in the care and custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families. We meet on a monthly basis as a support group for families and work together on fundraisers and events for family Members to participatein. Money raised helps foster Children with Christmas gifts, fieldtrips to places like Disney, The Zoo and aquariums. Our net-work of families also a wonderful resource for help in obtaining Cribs, beds, clothing, etc. That maybe needed When children 1st come Into care or with 1st time Foster families.
