The mission of the Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association (IVPA) is:1. To promote and highlight independently owned veterinary hospitals to educate consumers, allowing informed choices between corporate and independent services. This involves designing and distributing marketing materials and creating a consumer-focused website.2. To expand membership to gain representation in the American Veterinary Medical Association's House of Delegates, giving independent practices a voice in the leading U.S. veterinary association.3. To maintain a veterinary student program focusing on the importance of independent practice ownership, imparting essential skills for both business management and veterinary services.4. To advocate for members in securing fair pricing for manufactured goods.
