Girls in Focus
Girls IN Focus is a 501c3 non-profit with an innovative, online educational film program for girls and non-binary youth, ages 12-18 Girls IN Focus’s (GIF) mission is to connect girls and non-binary youth globally with our trailblazing film programs and have the 12-18 year olds emerge as film industry leaders. Taught by A-list film industry professionals, our four programs, both online and in-person, offer girls and non-binary youth world-wide a supportive, unique environment to connect and collaborate, creating films together from concept to festival-ready films. At this time we are offering a virtual platform for film production. All the films are screened at our annual GIF Fest and continue screening in many LA film festivals. Our alumna are invited to join our Youth Advisory Board and help run the organization. Many get into top film schools.
