The Chisholm Legacy Project (TCLP) is committed to advancing Black Liberation, freedom and self-determination for Black communities; and Just Transition, moving from an extractive economy built on greed to a regenerative economy. TCLP advances Black Liberation and Just Transition by strengthening the capacity and elevating the assets of Black frontline communities impacted by climate change through: • Community Building • The Movement Building • Bending the Mainstream Arc towards Equity and Justice • Black Femme Wellness

The Chisholm Legacy Project Take action to support Freedmens Settlements and historic Black towns We urgently invite you to support a critical legislative package introduced in Congress to preserve Freedmens Settlements and historic Black towns established after emancipation. The Revitalizing and Empowering Settlements Through Opportunity Resilience and Education RESTORE Act establishes the first federal program specifically supporting these historic communities with funding through 2030 and the accompanying resolution calls for immediate executive action to protect them.
