Appalachian Resource Conservation and Development Council

Appalachian RC&D Council is a non-profit organization conserving natural resources and improving rural economies in Tennessee and beyond since 1994. The Appalachian RC&D Council was formed in 1993 to address unmet needs in rural Northeast Tennessee. Our membership is composed of county governments, soil conservation districts and at large members of the community. We work to address issues where there is no existing infrastructure to meet the challenge of improving rural economy while conserving natural resources.
