Community Alliance for Special Education
CASE, the Community Alliance for Special Education, is an education and disability justice nonprofit that supports students and their families as they navigate special education services in public schools. We help students and their families advocate for a high quality education. The advocates of CASE help families develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans for their children with disabilities and learning differences. We support and empower students and families as they learn their rights and responsibilities in special education and beyond. CASE provides self-advocacy resources to help students and young adults with disabilities develop the skills needed to navigate their environment independently and prepare them for a lifetime of success.
