Ananias Mission Association

Ananias Mission works to respond to the worldwide refugee crisis. We connect communities of compassion to work together to alleviate the dire conditions that refugees are living in.We got our start through an effort to help twenty people trapped in Syria. As Christians, they were in danger of persecution because of their religion. We helped them flee to Lebanon and supported them while they waited there, and then connected them with Canadian churches who privately sponsored their applications for refugee relief in Canada.We are continuing this work and we currently support Canadian churches as they welcome refugees into their community. We also have a partner in Lebanon that is currently feeding over 1,700 refugees, most of whom will not be leaving the Middle East. In Pittsburgh, we are involved with local refugee communities to help them as they begin their new American lives.
