Robins Nest Hope for the hopeless Robins Nest serves vulnerable populations in the most challenging environments on the planet. How We Started Shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in March 2022 a small group of United States Special Operations veterans and dedicated volunteers assisted in the evacuation and rescue of 150 orphans from the fast approaching Russian front line and artillery fire. We quickly built a robust network of trusted partners US and Ukrainian military paramilitary and logistics teams to coordinate a multistage evacuation. We were able to relocate the orphans to western Ukraine ultimately sheltering near the Polish boarder.
