Southwest Childrens Chorus
The goal of the Southwest Children's Chorus is to provide any child, regardless of previous musical experience, with an outstanding performance-based music education program offered in a positive and nurturing environment. The Choir endeavors to foster the personal and social growth of its members and to promote their sense of self-esteem, accomplishment, and pride. Furthermore, we strive to contribute to the cultural life of this area, the state of Texas, the nation, and the world. The SWCC also hopes to increase the quality of singing in area schools and churches by providing an organization which can excel beyond the experience available in average school or church choirs. Membership is open to children of ALL racial, cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds, based on an audition with the Music Director.
