Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD): Serving the Sacramento, California region The LinuxUsersGroupofDavisis a 501c7 nonprofit computer club serving theSacramento regionconsisting of hundredsofpeople who share aninterested in the Linuxoperating system Free OpenSource softwareand other related topics both technical and nontechnical. Our goals are to advocate the use of Linux and OpenSourceto educate the community on these software alternatives andto support and provide a socialnetwork for localLinux users. LUGOD holds regularmeetingstwice a month. On the firstTuesday of each month we hold a social gatheringat a local restaurant or cafeand on the thirdMonday of each month we meetat the DavisPublicLibrary to listen to informativepresentations byguest speakers.
