RISE SHINE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM Enabling Academic Gains in a Supportive Environment Rise Shine Freedom School provides an enjoyable afterschool educational program for eligible students and their parents. Regardless of background every scholar gets personalized support to improve academic achievement enhance culturalsocial experiences and build selfesteem in a productive environment. Rise Shine is the ONLY local K12 after school program that offers oneonone tutoring early focus on Reading and Comprehension STEAM Science Technology Engineering the Arts and Mathematics activities lessons in African American history and culture outdoor enrichment activities tools for academic and collegiate success Our teen scholars also participate in opportunities for skillbuilding volunteerism mentoring of our younger scholars.
