We’re excited to kick off a new round of field studies in the central hill plantations and surrounding natural forest landscapes of Sri Lanka! This research will explore how carnivores—especially wildcats—are coexisting with humans and other species in these dynamic habitats. 🐾🌿 Funded by The Rufford Foundation, Small Wild Cat Conservation Foundation and Fishing Cat Conservation Alliance, and conducted in collaboration with our conservation partner Save Fishing Cats conservation project, whose dedication to small carnivore conservation continues to inspire us.
