Sales and Marketing Executives of Greater Baton Rouge is an active professional association dedicated to career development of sales and marketing managers and executives. To encourage and foster cooperation of those engaged in the business of merchandising and sales direction in order to improve the status of the sales executive and merchandiser and to serve the public more effectively. To inspire a keener interest in the study of sound merchandising and sales fundamentals and related activities through proper education and to foster increased public appreciation of the place of selling the national economy. To provide a forum for the interchange of viewpoints and experience pertinent to salesmanship and sales management. To negotiate and enter into agreements with any or all associations or organizations of employees or employees engaged in the business of merchandising and sales direction.
