Western Pennsylvania Regional Urban Search and Technical Rescue Team
The purpose of the Western Pennsylvania Regional Urban Search and Technical Rescue Team (WPARUSATRT) is to function as a supportive entity for the Technical Rescue Teams within Region 13 by providing educational, administrative and financial guidance. WPARUSATRT will provide expertise and equipment to assist local first responders with highly technical rescue operations when requested, provide educational resources and training services and acquire charitable funding to support the Region 13 US&R team operations and its all-hazard technical rescue response operations.
