Union Project uses the arts to bridge gaps between communities. Union Project makes space to connect, create, and celebrate community. Union Project is a dynamic arts, enterprise, and events center - a community hub and common ground for Pittsburgh's neighborhoods and residents. Our historic building, located at the intersection of Stanton and Negley Avenues, provides an affordable, safe, and welcoming home to grassroots entrepreneurs, artists, nonprofits, people of all faiths and community events. Together with the support of community members, Union Project grows people's skills, spirits, and self-sufficiency. Since 2001, Union Project has strengthened the stability of Pittsburgh's neighborhoods by incubating 120 fte new jobs at micro-businesses and nonprofits, cultivating more than 45,000 volunteer hours to help renovate our space, and gathering tens of thousands of diverse people.

Education Union Project offers education programs in our building and throughout the community for individuals and groups of all sizes. Artists Supporting artists at all levels is a key part of Union Projects work to strengthen connections in our community. We offer several ways for artists to work with us and benefit from our shared studio environment.
