Vermilion Range Amateur Radio Club
Along with promoting the Amateur Radio hobby we provide communications support for civic events such as the Wolf Track Classic sled dog race and the Ely Marathon. We also provide emergency communications services to the Ely, MN, Police Department, the Saint Louis County Sheriff's Department and the National Weather Service in association with the Amateur Radio Emergency Services and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services. All members are uncompensated volunteers.
