We believe that racial diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence among TK-12 administrators is key to improving student outcomes. Diversity in Leadership Institute is dedicated to increasing racial diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural competence among public school administrators as a lever to improve academic and social outcomes for TK-12 students in California. The Diversity in Leadership Institute’s mission is to create equitable outcomes for Black and Latinx students by building a movement of racially diverse and culturally competent public education leaders.
