🎉 Meet Nubia Barajas, Nancy Crispin-Reyes, and Jenny Biggs! 🎉 These three incredible women bring passion, purpose, and heart to our ESL program at Gallatin Shalom Zone. 💙 Nubia joined in August 2023 as our ESL Coordinator and volunteer, bringing warmth and energy to every class. She’s drawn to the strong sense of community built by Bethany and the team. Fun facts about Nubia: ✔️ Naturally shy, but full of expressive energy ✔️ Loves all things potato (except sweet potatoes!) ✔️ Proud cat mom + wine tasting enthusiast 💚 Nancy started as a volunteer and ESL student in 2020 and now teaches evening ESL classes at the basic level. She finds deep purpose in helping others and feels re-energized every Monday when teaching. Fun facts about Nancy: ✔️ Loves silence and quiet time in nature ✔️ Doesn’t like music ✔️ Has worked multiple jobs for years ✔️ (Not-so-fun fact: afraid of mice 🐭) 🧡 Jenny has been our ESL Instructor for two years, helping bridge communication gaps in our community. She’s inspired by the passionate staff, dedicated volunteers, and variety of resources offered at GSZ.
