Centering all athletes, framing new questions, and generating relevant data to promote equity in global sport. Listening to athletes, framing key academic questions, and generating high-impact data to reduce ine Sports Equity Lab is the only nonprofit in North America working to dismantle abuse and discrimination in global sports through innovative academic research & perspective-altering community events. Our research is global, interdisciplinary, intergenerational, athlete-centered & athlete-driven, and ranges from biological to behavioral. Imbued with the lived & educational experiences of lab members, our work translates directly to IOC, IPC, NCAA, & FIFA policies, programs & practices for eliminating athlete abuse & preserving the magic of sport. Sports Equity Lab continues to contribute to the international safeguarding community. We believe that all athletes have the right to an environment free of abuse, and that safe spaces, in turn, enhance all aspects of sport.
