Tie A Thon It Started with a Challenge 100 Flies for a Cause We support fly fishing organizations around the world through the art of Fly Tying. The Tieathon was cofounded by Terry Wittorp and Tim Scott in 2006 with the goal to raise as many flies as possible for the Kalamazoo Michigan Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited Youth Camp. Terry and Tim convinced fly tiers from around the area to tie as many flies as they could for a good cause. For their efforts the two had a culmination event at the Elkhart Conservation club which included tiers coming together for good conversation great food and a bit of tying.
