The objective of MRSC is to improve incentives for rooftop solar in Maryland by making solar more accessible and affordable through policy advocacy. To facilitate collaboration, networking, and education amongst its members to further the Maryland customer sited solar market. Through education and communication, MRSC hopes to make rooftop solar power more affordable and accessible to the community through effective policy advocacy.

One of our current goals is to improve the incentive program of customer sited solar by making solar power more accessible and affordable through effective policy advocacy. ROOFTOP SOLAR IMPACT REDUCE ELECTRIC COSTS The combination of high average electricity rates 13. 12 cents per kWh and high average energy usage 20th highest in the US makes theaverage electricity cost in Maryland among the highest in the country.
