Wednesday Club Historical Group
The Wednesday Club Historical Group is a 501c3 organization, established to maintain a NATIONAL HISTORIC PLACE building (circa 1926) that houses the membership of the Wednesday Club – a “community of civic minded women” formed in 1911 dedicated to the advancement of the welfare of the community and to promote the educational and social interests of its members. For more than 98 years, the building has served senior women (average age 72) from Solano County cities - creating a place for friendship, fellowship and community-focused philanthropic efforts and partnerships. The building also provides a reasonably-priced event facility for residents of Solano County – providing a local affordable cost option for quinceañeras, weddings, graduations, and family reunions for local residents.
