A New Dawn Our Mission. A New Dawn Incorporated is a grassroots communitybased program rooted in the Mill CreekParkside section of West Philadelphia. Our mission is to reduce community violence involving youth and young adults by building resilience supporting families and fostering engagement among neighbors and residents. We empower youth to address stress and trauma through mentorship handson training and the maintenance of our community garden and greenhouse where they learn to grow fruits and vegetables and engage in sustainable agriculture.
