Where are they now? Preservation Archaeology Field School edition Chris La Roche (Field School Class of 2017) has been working in cultural resource management since earning his Bachelor's in 2020—with a break to complete a Master’s in Anthropology. He now works as a Project Director for a Tucson-based company, and says the Preservation Archaeology Field School gave him “the solid skill base and experiences [he] needed to start [his] career.” Chris especially appreciated the field school’s hands-on activities, experimental archaeology projects, and field trips to places like Chaco Canyon and Acoma Pueblo, which gave valuable context to the work. 🎓 Help future students gain the skills and perspective that shaped Chris’s path. 🔗 https://www.archaeologysouthwest.org/donate-2025/ #Preservation #Archaeology #FieldSchool #archaeologycareers #CRM (fb)
