Barrio Fridge was initiated by Seantell Campbell and Darrielle Carter, childhood friends from East Harlem, New York. These refrigerators are accessible 24/7, allowing individuals to take what they need without cost or obligation. Campbell and Carter, along with a network of volunteers, ensure that the fridges are maintained and stocked regularly.
