Citizens 4 Humanity is a grass roots organization of "people helping people". Based on the East End of Long Island, we feed families with a single moms/ parents, homebound seniors and vetetrans in need. Citizens 4 Humanity's mission is to nourish and uplift underserved families, single parent households, homebound seniors and veterans in need of support by providing nutritious meals and hope to those with food insecurities on Long Island, New York since 2012. Citizens 4 Humanity also hosts cooking classes for underserved community members, empowering them with skills to cook and eat healthy meals at home for sustainable living. The latest initiative is to empower less fortunate young adults in America by bringing them to Italy to study abroad at the Barrila Hospitality Academy in Italy. This transformative educational experience in culinary arts and hospitality will then reintegrate these successful young adults, thereby strengthening our economies within our communities back at home.
