PRB helps build teachers who seek ways to engage students to hone their thinking skills. Learning is NOT knowledge accumulation but rather the awakening of curiosity and the sharpening of the mind. Teachers need first to be curious learners themselves! Our mission is to promote Filipino children's engagement in learning. We give children ample opportunities to create ideas, think and collaborate with peers in making sense of stories they read and in writing about their personal experiences and the issues in their community. This engagement aim to help these youth find their voice and become effective social change agents in their community using their heightened social awareness, improved literacy, and science orientation. We hope to PUBLISH the stories that they get to write so that they can teach the world about their culture, their history and the challenges they face in their community.
